Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. One day I was being silly and I cut up a T-Shirt and made it into a sort of hat type headdress. I am so easily amused and entertained. Then I snapped a Selfie. The next thing I knew I was making a piece of art from that photograph.
